WIEBES PRAISES TEAM AFTER STAGE 3 VICTORY
"I'm really happy to take the stage win, the team worked really hard today and Barbara Guarischi did a really good lead-out with Elena [Cecchini]," Wiebes said. "I really like to race the Giro Donne, I enjoy it here in Italy."
"Towards the final I always feel the pressure because I have to deliver for the team and the girls work really hard for me, so then I always want to win."
They were absent from the front of the peloton for much of the final 10km, but moved up perfectly when they needed to.
Wiebes said: "We were a bit far in the last kilometres, but I fully trust Barbara [Guarischi] as last lead-out and she delivered me perfectly. She went in fast in the final corner so I only had to sprint 150 metres and the team survived the climb in the middle well."

LORENA WIEBES WINS STAGE 3
She was the favourite and we can all see why, the European Champion hit the front after a tremendous job from Guarischi to put her into second wheel before the final corner.
Wiebes entered the lead with Vos in her wheel, but even the GOAT was unable to come out of her slipstream.
This is Wiebes' eighth win of the year and her fifth at World Tour level. Once she gets up to speed, it's near-enough impossible to come around her.

1KM TO GO - CANYON SRAM HIT THE FRONT
The German team has taken the lead for now and it's carnage at the front with teams fighting for that leading spot. Will Chloe Dygert go for the sprint?
The GC riders can breathe having made the final kilometre, where the times are being taken today.

2KM TO GO - WHERE ARE SD WORX?
They haven't hit the front yet for Wiebes, but she does has Barbara Guarischi in her team, who is one of the absolute best riders at piloting their sprinter into the correct position.

3KM TO GO - DSM POSITIONED BEST
For now, its the team with the best lead-out in the world showing exactly why their reputation is as it is. They've nailed the final 10k so far and have barely missed a beat in staying at the front to keep Jastrab safe.

5KM TO GO - PELOTON HITTING SPEEDS OF 50KM/H
It's heating up in the bunch with the speeds reaching 50km/h for now in the approach. We've also got an almighty fight for position going on as all the teams want to keep their respective sprinters safe.
13:36
7KM TO GO - VAN VLEUTEN STAYING SAFE
The pink jersey and race leader is staying right towards the front of the peloton as she tries to avoid any dangers. It's a very big bunch on a wide road for now, so hopefully everyone can stay safe once it narrows again.
Jumbo-Visma will want to move up and position Vos well as for now, they are well down the bunch and are out of the position they would want.
13:33
9KM TO GO - SD WORX AND DSM ON THE FRONT
The rivalry between Wiebes and Kool won't see another round at this race, but Kool's dsm-firmenich teammates are still going to have a good go at beating Wiebes through Jastrab.
They are the two teams dominating the front of the peloton during this chaotic run into the line.

10KM TO GO - BREAKAWAY CAUGHT
We are nearing the business end of today's racing with a flying peloton closing in quickly on the day's break. They've been swept up after a fine effort in front, with Movistar now hitting the front to keep race leader Van Vleuten out of the chaos.
They will want to pilot her to the 1km from the finish point as this is where the GC times are taken from.
13:28
13KM TO GO - HERE COME SD WORX
They've been the best team all year and have won the vast majority of races, but yesterday's first GC day was somewhat of a disaster for them, without a rider featuring in the front group and their leader for the race in Niamh Fisher-Black finishing 2:59 down on Annemiek van Vleuten.
They'll be keen to bounce back through Wiebes.
13:25
15KM TO GO - THE CHASE IS ON
Cars are being pulled out of the gap as the breakaway's gap is melting away in this approach to the finish. AG Insurance-Soudal Quick-Step are riding hard on the front with all the other main teams getting their trains sorted.
13:21
18KM TO GO - STORRIE AND PEPERKAMP ON THE FRONT
Two of dsm-firmenich's climbing core are taking up the mantle on the front of the peloton: Becky Storrie and Esmee Peperkamp, in aid of their sprinter for the day - Megan Jastrab.
The young American has worked well in the team's incredibly efficient leadout train that normally works for their star-sprinter. Charlotte Kool. Kool isn't here so Jastrab will be the option.

20KM TO GO - GAP COMING DOWN
The peloton has started to slowly reel in the break now as they enter the final 20km. We're back to just a minute advantage for the leaders. Fenix-Deceuninck and dsm-firmenic are the two teams at the front working for now.
We've not seen much of SD Worx yet despite them having the day's favourite.
13:14
23KM TO GO - BREAK HAS 1:30 LEAD
This is the biggest their advantage has been since they broke away from the leaders, but it is starting to fall now with the sprinters teams interested in competing the victory coming to the front to start their charge for the finish.
13:02
30KM TO GO - PALAZZI TAKES THE INTERMEDIATE SPRINT
Only Zontone and Palazzi went for it, with Vetterollo deciding not to waste her energy. Zontone went long but Palazzi had enough firepower to come past her before the line.
We're on an incredibly long road now, so the peloton have the break well within their sights.

33KM TO GO - LIVE IMAGES BACK
After a small drop-off of the live pictures, we're back with the race and the leaders advantage is still flirting with the minute mark, but seems to have stabilised. The trio out in front will likely take the top three spots at the upcoming intermediate sprint.
12:53
37KM TO GO - LEADERS ADVANTAGE OUT TO 50 SECONDS
It's a leading trio now out in front: Vettorello, Zontone and Alice Palazzi (Top Girls Fassa Bortolo). They have been allowed to extend their gap with the majority of the bunch still taking a moment to refuel and eat. It will be out over the minute mark soon.
12:48
40KM TO GO - WHAT ARE LIDL-TREK PLOTTING?
Are Lidl-Trek planning a late attack in their new kit? They've not come to the Giro with their best sprinter Elisa Balsamo, so may want to launch a late charge to the line through the likes of Lizzie Deignan or Shirin van Anrooij.
12:36
48KM TO GO - 10 SECOND LEAD FOR DUO
The two riders out in front are struggling to build an advantage over ten seconds on these wide open roads. We've had a pretty rapid start to the day in favourable conditions, so they likely won't last too long out in front.
12:32
51KM TO GO - COUNTER ATTACKS INCOMING
Asia Zontone (Isolmant-Premac-Vittoria) has bridged the gap to our long leader with the main peloton taking a chance to get a feed and refuel before the bunch sprint finish.
