Welcome to live coverage of stage 10 of the Giro d'Italia - a first day in the proper mountains. The 167km stage features two Cat.1 ascents and finishes atop the Altopiano del Montasio. With a rest day behind them, it's time for the big GC favourites to come out and play - or be found out.

With those bonus seconds, Nibali increases his lead to 41 seconds ovr Evans on GC. Uran is up to third at 2:04, with Wiggins one second back. Gesink is now fifth at 2:12.

Uran rides under the 1km-to-go banner. It looks like he will hold on for glory. Nibali has a slight problem with his chain, but rectifies it. Wiggins has been overtaken by Intxausti but is not too far behind.

The gaps are not huge on this final climb. Wiggins is down, but not out. Pozzovivo is caught by the Nibali chasing group. And now Evans comes to the front.

Niemiec has dropped back to help Scarponi. Wiggo is isolated but riding his own rhythm. Uran's lead is coming down - just 16 seconds over Pozzovivo and 28 over Nibali.

The diminutive Pozzovivo has opened up a gap over Nibali and his team-mate Betancur, but the pink jersey is fighting back. Uran now has just 28 seconds. Majka, Kiserlovski, Santambrogio and Evans are there. Wiggins is on his own in pursuit of the other favourites. Scarponi is further back, as is Gesink.

GESINK AND WIGGINS ARE CRACKING! The Dutchman is pedalling squares, while the Briton is droping back along with Scarponi and Intxausti.

Carlos Betancur has a mechanical while Evans had to dodge something - either a fan or a slowing rider. Now Benat Intxausti moves to the front - and Pozzovivo and Kiserlovski.

Now Lampre lead the chase through Niemiec and Scarponi. It's the toughest part of the climb now - the 20% ramp. Evans is grimacing. Nibali looks fine. Pozzovivo is there too. Majka looks strong - and it's the Pole who is now on the front.

Uran has 50 seconds over the chasing group - and Nibali puts in a bit of a dig to take the bonus seconds for second place over the intermediate sprint.

Uran takes the most pointlessly placed intermediate sprint at Sella Nevea.

Scarponi, Niemiec, Santambrogio and Majka are all still there too. uran reaches the 5-to-go banner with a lead of 35 seconds over the 20-odd chasers.

Uran is abou to reach the 20% segment. Wiggins is taking a very passive role in the pack - he's about seven riders back, alongside Evans. Nibali is on Agnoli's wheel. Henao has been dropped again.

Astana have sent Agnoli to the front to lead the chase. He's burying himself. But Uran looks very composed. He's about 20 seconds ahead now.
