Who is riding Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2023?

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) heads to the Monument chasing a rare Ardennes sweep, having won Amstel Gold and La Fleche Wallonne. Only Davide Rebellin (2004) and Philippe Gilbert (2011) have landed the treble in the same season.
But the Slovenian will face stern competition from defending champion Remco Evenepoel (Soudal-QuickStep), who is fine-tuning his preparations ahead of his Giro d'Italia mission next month. Evenepoel's team-mate Julian Alaphilippe is still feeling his way back after a nasty crash at this race a year ago, and will likely play lieutenant to the Belgian superstar.
Tom Pidcock (Ineos Greandiers) took third at Amstel Gold before fading at La Fleche Wallonne, with the Brit hoping to sign off his Ardennes stint with another trip to the podium. Romain Bardet (DSM) was a lively character on the Mur de Huy at Fleche Wallonne on Wednesday will hope to be in podium contention, while Mattias Skjelmose (Trek-Segafredo) is a dark horse after an impressive second in that race.
Pogacar is not the only rider chasing the Ardennes treble.
Demi Vollering (SD Worx) dominated on the Mur de Huy to win La Fleche Wallonne Femmes on Wednesday, having also clinched Amstel Gold last weekend. The Dutchwoman looks unstoppable currently, with defending champion Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar) facing a huge challenge to defend her title.
Lizzie Deignan (Trek-Segafredo) makes her second appearance since pregnancy as she aims to support Elisa Longo Borghini.
