The front four make it onto Mons-en-Pévèle (*****), the first of two five-star sectors. It's a stacked front group of current and former national and world champions, who went clear after an attack from Kopecky on sector 12. The gap has dropped slightly to eight seconds, chasing group lead by Van Dijk and Lidl-Trek.
