Frenchman Jacky Durand (Fdjeux.com) was kicked out of the Tour de France after Friday's 12th stage for holding on to a team car, race officials said.

mountains, said: "Apparently I was seen clinging to a car for
two kilometres. But I had a race steward behind me all day."
