So, the standings at the finish: 1 Garmin-Cervelo, 2 BMC at 4 seconds, 3 Sky at 4 seconds, 4 Leopard-Trek at 5 seconds, 5 HTC at 5 seconds, 6 Radioshack at 10 seconds, 7 Rabobank at 12 seconds, 8 Saxo Bank at 28 seconds.
16:22
Omega Pharma-Lotto finally roll in 39 seconds off the pace, good enough for tenth position. To be fair, Gilbert certainly expected to lost the yellow jersey today.

So, with only one team (Lotto) still out on the course, and in no danger of threatening the top teams, it's clear that Garmin-Cervelo's Thor Hushovd will be wearing the yellow jersey tomorrow!

BMC are second!!! 4.47 seconds is the small margin between the Garmin and BMC teams, and Cadel Evans will be absolutely thrilled with that. He now lies a very useful 1'42" ahead of Contador on the GC.
16:10
BMC continue to make excellent progress. They're just six seconds off the pace at the second checkpoint with 7km remaining.

Well, Philippe Gilbert may have the yellow jersey today, but he won't have it tomorrow. His Omega Pharma-Lotto team have just gone through the first split a full 26 seconds down on Sky. Not only that, but Vanendert and Van de Walle have just fallen off the back.

BMC have lost two men. Marcus Burghardt is off the back, and it looked like the other one was Quinziato. To be fair, their pace over the opening few kilometres was very, very high.

Leopard-Trek lose another rider. They're down to seven now, with seven kilometres remaining.

HTC finish 3rd-fastest! Six seconds behind HTC. They're a strong squad, and will no doubt have been gunning for the stage win here. Had Eisel not crashed on that second corner, they may well have secured it, too.

Great start from BMC!!! Just 1.2 seconds off the pace of Sky after 9km! Can they keep this pace up?
15:57
Omega Pharma-Lotto, complete with yellow jersey Philippe Gilbert, power off the start line, and they're the last team to start! Everyone's either finished, or out on the road now.
15:57
Radioshack now stop the clock ten seconds behind Garmin! Fine effort from the American squad, and good enough for third place provisionally.
15:56
Fabian Cancellara puts in a huge turn at the front of the Trek-Leopard squad, and brings them through seven seconds down on Sky at the first check. A solid, if unspectacular start.
15:55
Cadel Evans is in the green points jersey today. His BMC team start their TTT now. With the likes of Bookwalter, Hincapie, Burghardt and of course Evans himself in there, they are well capable of turning in a fast time. Whether or not they'll be able to finish within 3 seconds of Garmin to put Evans in the yellow jersey remains to be seen.
15:49
Cofidis now roll in 1'20" off the pace Garmin, just ahead of the Euskaltel team, who currently occupy last position. I would suggest that is now unlikely to change, given the strength of the teams still to start, and those out on the course.
15:46
HTC are a mere sixth-fastest at the first checkpoint, 9 seconds down on Sky. Perhaps losing Bernhard Eisel to that crash so early disrupted their rhythm a little.
15:42
Wow. That's one shiny visor on the helmet of world TT champion Fabian Cancellara. Respledent in his rainbow jersey, he leads his Leopard-Trek team off the start line. Andy and Frank Schleck may well see this as a chance to put more time into Alberto Contador.
15:38
Radioshack are now 9 seconds off the pace at the first split. A little underwhelming. Kloden's chances of riding into the yellow jersey are disappearing.
