Hello and welcome to live coverage of stage 16 of the Tour de France - a rolling 209-kilometre ride into Switzerland from Moirans-en-Montagne to Berne.

No change in the overall standings ahead of the second rest day. Chris Froome still very much in yellow - but this race ain't over yet! Just remember what happened to Steven Kruijswijk in the Giro d'Italia...

Replays show that Sagan won that by a slender tyre length... That's his third win of the race for the world champion.

VICTORY FOR PETER SAGAN! The Tinkoff rider threw his bike forward and just managed to pip his Norwegian rival.

Alexander Kristoff looks to have pipped Peter Sagan for the win... but it's a photo finish!

Kristoff and Sagan are there but Valverde is having a pop!

Under the flamme rouge as they come to the top of the climb - it's flat from here and it's just a group of 30 riders - the yellow jersey is there.

Degenkolb, Sagan and Barguil now on the front with Boasson Hagen behind.

It's strung out ahead of this climb - and here they go! Sagan and Boasson Hagen are near the front.

Now LottoNL-Jumbo on the front ahead of IAM. Here come the cobbles!

Over some cobbles and tramlines and they then zip down a narrow, twisting descent... very exciting course this is.

The pack has blown apart. Costa is about to be caught - and that's it. IAM Cycling leading the pack with three riders - the Swiss team putting on a good show.

Just eight seconds now and it's Dimension Data leading the chase with Trek Segafredo edhing ahead now.

Another name to throw into the mix is Dylan Groeneweger or perhaps Sep Vanmarcke of LottoNL-Jumbo. They're near the front now.

Still 10 seconds for lone ranger Rui Coste but it surely won't be enough - especially with that cobbled climb up into Bern city centre.

Costa has 18 seconds but it's coming down now as BMC take it up. They're a Swiss team and have Van Avermaet so will be super motivated for the finish.
