Here's the new top 10 on GC going into tomorrow's rest day. No change in the top five despite a few seconds here and there. But Pinot is up to seventh after his win.

The moment Thibaut Pinot emerged from the mist to win Stage 15 at Lagos de Covadonga. The Frenchman is now a stage winner in all three Grand Tours.

With Pinot, Lopez and Yates taking 10-6-4 bonus seconds - and Quintana finishing a few seconds back on the latter - Quintana will fall further behind of the British rider on GC, while Valverde will stay in second.

Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana) crosses the line 26 seconds down and just two seconds clear of Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott). Valverde is the next rider, then Mas, and then Kruijswijk, with Quintana coming home a few seconds back. He really was on the limit, then.

Victory for Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ).

Pinot passes under the flamme rouge on the downhill section and the win should be his because Lopez is still 20 seconds back, and the others are doing nothing but bicker.
1.8km
Pinot has 18 seconds on Lopez and 25 seconds on the others. Meanwhile, Yates throws his arms in desperation - he wants someone else to work. Quintana mimics him, but they only have Mas and Valverde behind, and they're both dead.
2.2km
Pinot is onto the 20% section now as the others stutter behind. Valverde is now back with them - Kruijswijk too. Just as Lopez puts in an unseated dig.
2.5km
Yet another dig from Yates is matched by Quintana - and if the Colombian has the strength to close all these attacks, why doesn't he put in one or two of his own?
3km
As Mas rides back on, Lopez puts in an attack on a downhill segment. Mas, Quintana and Yates fight back - but Pinot still has 15 seconds. The Valverde-Kruijswijk group are only a few seconds further back.
3.5km
Another attack from Yates, who takes Quintana and Lopez with him. Pinot is 15 seconds clear still - and it's eerily misty.
4km
Kruijswijk and Valverde have now been dropped. But Quintana has caught Yates with Mas and Lopez.
4.5km
Kruijswijk is back with this elite group. They catch Mas, who puts in another dig and takes Yates with him. Pinot now has 15 seconds.
4.7km
It's now the turn of Enric Mas who attacks. Pinot still has 10 seconds on these GC favourites so it's all very close.
5km
Yates is caught by the Movistar duo and Lopez. Uran is dropped and the others are in between. They're on one of those downhill segments up here in the mist.
5.5km
Yates is about 40 metres down on Pinot. Behind it's Lopez who leads the chase with quintana, Valverde, Kruijswijk, Uran and Mas.

Now Yates goes! Quintana looks over his shoulder to see if anyone else is going to go - and when no one does, he can't. It's left to the green jersey of Valverde to put in an effort.

The impressive Enric Mas is also there for Quick-Step Floors. Uran is digging deep and he's managed to ride back into contention - just as Thibaut Pinot attacks! The Frenchman dances clear and nobody responds.

Quintana rides over to Lopez after Carapaz peels off. Valverde looks to be in trouble but sits in at the back of the group. Yates, Pinot and Kruijswijk manage to close the gap with Valverde, but Uran has been dropped.
