Marianne Vos takes the Dutch flag from the crowd and waves it in appreciation as she crossed the line to take the win, six years after winning as an amateur. Gold medal for the Dutch rider.
0.5km
The crowds are going ballistic as 25-year-old Marianne Vos powers towards the line to take her first world championships gold for six years, when she won her first.
1km
Neylan will surely take silver and Borghini bronze. But the gold will finally go to Vos on her home soil.
1.5km
Borghini has exploded. It's all over - Vos is just too strong.

They're onto the final climb of the Cauberg and it's Neylan who attacks the climb first. Then Vos puts in a huge attack!

Sean Kelly prediction: 1. Vos, 2. Borghini, 3. Neylan. Dave Harmon: 1. Borghini, 2. Vos, 3. Neylan.
4km
The final climb of the Cauberg is approaching as van der Breggen is reeled back in. The youngster is still on the front, with Neber on her wheel, and then Vos, Neylan and Borghini.
5km
Now Vos and Borghini are back on the front. It's starting to get nervous and the pace is slowing right down, allowing van der Breggen a moment to ride up the road.
6km
Vos still dicatates the pace, with Borghini right on the back talking to a race car. Something's not right for the Italian. Vos now drops back as if to check what's wrong with her main rival.
7km
Borghini is dropping back to her team car - this will be terrible timing if she needs a mechanical at this crucial stage.
8km
They're onto the Bemelerberg for the last time. Neber is on the back and Vos on the front, with Borghini right in her wheel.
10km
Vos is riding hard on the front with van der Breggen. It's a strange tactic, because the peloton is well and truly out of the equation and she needs to conserve her energy. Another second place - and on home soil - would be terrible for her, and perhaps that's getting her a bit nervous.
14km
The peloton passes over the line almost three minutes down. Meanwhile, back with the leaders, it's the two Dutch riders controlling matters. Surely this is Vos's race to lose. Ratto is now 45 seconds down on the quintet.
15km
Ratto is a handful of seconds down, but Becker is well out of it: 45 seconds down over the line.

Nineteen-year-old van den Breggen is setting the pace for her compatriot Vos. The youngster is riding an all-orange bike, while Vos has opted for a black frame. It's Borghini who leads the five escapees over the line as the bell sounds for the final lap.
17km
Neber and van der Breggen rejoin the leading trio, so we have five riders now - including two Dutch.
18km
Ratto, Neben and van den Breggen are riding as a three in pursuit, while Becker has been distanced. Now Ratto is tiring too.

ATTACK: Vos goes for it on the penultimate climb of the Cauberg, and only Borghini can initially match her for pace. Neylan joins them, but the others are struggling on this, the Alpe d'Huez of Holland.
20km
The Dutch have really ridden this race perfectly. Vos has van der Breggen in support and they are set up well. Borghini of Italy is one to watch though. The gap is over two minutes now.
