Team Sky cross the line 1:32.21 down - and it's only good enough for ninth place.
15:37
Sky are the last team left on the road. They complete the Cauberg with four riders but the British team have been struggling all day today and they may not even make the top ten.

That's a big effort from Orica-GreenEdge, who look to have secured the bronze medal. The Australian team crosses the line 47.01 down on Omega Pharma-Quick Step, but with Sky faltering behind, it looks good for a podium finish.
15:32
GreenEdge are next up. They too are down to four men in their bid to make the podium. The Cauberg is proving pivotal today, that's for sure.

Gilbert, in the Belgian national champions helmet, drives the pace before peeling back. They are all taking big turns and it's going to be close... so close... and it's silver. Omega Pharma hold on by three seconds!

BMC lose two riders quickly on the Cauberg, and then Taylor Phinney struggles and the leading four will have to regroup. Van Garderen was too powerful on the climb, and Phinney needed to be paced back by Gilbert and Ballan. That could be the difference between gold and silver.

Wow, that's brilliant by Omega Pharma-Quick Step: they finish as a full six and take more than a minute off the previous leaders Liquigas. We have a new target time of 1:03:17.17. Can BMC match it?
15:24
Both Omega Pharma and BMC still have a full six-man quota of riders. The former are on the Cauberg and the latter have that climb coming right up. It's between these two teams for the win today, surely. Just nine seconds separated them at the third check.
15:23
Only sixth fastest for Garmin-Sharp at the finish, 30.34 down on Liquigas, and with still four teams to come.

Omega Pharma-Quick Step - still riding as a six - show just how devastating they are today in passing RadioShack's Andreas Kloden ahead of the Cauberg. As for the rest of RadioShack - they have just crossed the line in fifth place, 16:49 down on Liquigas.

Finally regrouped, Rabobank give it their all on the final straight, but it's not enough and they cross the line 3.40 seconds down on leaders Liquigas, who are all smiles (and laughs) in the winners enclosure.

Disaster for Rabobank on the Cauberg: they have two men up the road and two struggling further back - plus another two already out of the equation. Sanchez and Gesink looked to be struggling there. Stef Clement and Lars Boom were just too strong on that climb. That could be their medal chance out of the window.

Yes, Omega Pharma-Quick Step are roaring towards gold here: they snatch a massive 45 seconds off previous leaders Rabobank at the third check.
