The ADAC Opel Rallye Junior Team holds the advantage in the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams following last month’s Rally di Roma Capitale.

It capitalised on a tough event for the Saintéloc Junior Team to move to the top of the rankings by nine points with three events remaining thanks to a one-two in the 2WD classification by Mārtiņš Sesks and Tom Kristensson.

Russian Performance Motorsport and Toksport WRT also scored well in Italy and are third and fourth in the standings respectively.

The 2018 ERC season continues with Barum Czech Rally Zlín from 24-26 August.
