Costenaro wants more than three in the ERC

Giacomo Costenaro is hoping he can turn what will be an initial three-event FIA European Rally Championship campaign into a full ERC season.
Costenaro revealed on his Facebook page that he will contest the Azores Airlines Rallye, Rally Islas Canarias and the Acropolis Rally in Greece.
But the Italian added that he doesn’t want his adventure to end there with a full-season bid the ultimate aim for the Italian.
Costenaro, whose last of seven ERC appearances came in 2016, said: “This year we will be back in the FIA ERC. For sure we will participate on the first three events with the hope to continue for the whole season. Stay tuned.”
He focused on an Italian Gravel championship effort in 2017, finishing third in the final standings with two podiums.
