Dominik Brož refused to let a broken gearbox hold him back on Rally Rzeszow with the Czech producing a determined drive to finish sixth in ERC Junior Under 27.
The Czech had to make do with three working gears only in the Ford Fiesta R2 he shares with co-driver Petr Těšínský for much of Saturday’s second leg but still managed to go the distance after refusing to give up.
“The first day was quite boring with lots of delays,” said the ACCR Czech Team driver. “Then we had problems with the gearbox, only second, third and fourth gears were working so it was a really difficult rally for us. Hopefully we will have our Peugeot back for the next event in our Czech Republic, our home event.”
