Alexey Lukyanuk will be back in action for the first time since clinching the FIA European Rally Championship title* when he contests the Tipcars Pražský Rallysprint in Czech Republic this weekend.
Lukyanuk and co-driver Alexey Arnautov are top seeds for the Prague event, which they will contest in a Rufa Sport-entered Ford Fiesta R5.
ERC podium finish Grzegorz Grzyb will be among Lukyanuk’s rivals for victory, while Vojtěch Štajf, a former ERC regular, will be another driver to watch when he makes his first start in Volkswagen’s all-new Polo GTI R5.
The all-asphalt Tipcars Pražský Rallysprint takes place on 1 December.
*Subject to confirmation of the results by the FIA
