Circuit racer turned rally driver Mattia Vita wants to make more progress when the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship resumes on Barum Czech Rally Zlín from 24-26 August.
Vita makes his debut on the demanding sealed-surface event on the back of his season-best fourth place on Rally di Roma Capitale last month. He plans to build on that achievement and performance in his Pirelli-equipped PEUGEOT 208 R2.
“Rally di Roma Capitale was my first race with Tagai Racing Technology and we had such a great fourth place, the best result of my career,” said Italian Vita. “To have a puncture or crash was so easy so the concentration level was so high. My target is to continue this progression in Zlín where, for sure, we will find some very tricky conditions.”
