Bamba runs into trouble after trying to play it out but he wins a free-kick.
52'
Drogba runs it out for a goal kick. It's just not happened for him so far.
51'
That frantic first half seems to have taken its toll - a lot cagier at the start of the second.
49'
Great run by Gervinho down the right but good defending from the Zambians and it ricochets off him for a goal kick.
48'
The Drog is back on. He tries to win a header but Zambia have a goal kick.
47'
A very groggy Drogba is led off. He could be a touch concussed after a slight nod into the back of his head from Mulenga.
46'
Drogba has gone down... He looks a bit dazed. Took a knock to the head.

Revised predos: @incakolanews: "Woof. Anyway, your nervy 1-0 is looking closer to the mark"; @Ginger_Joshy: "ivory coast to score in the second half"; @TeamSzczesny: "It was a good half and pace was very high! but I think that the match will end penalties or a late ET goal"

Right. I'm off to get a drink of water and wrestle a tiger. In the meanwhile, have your say on that half by contacting me on Twitter @Reda_Eurosport; I expect dog's abuse when I return.

The whistle goes and an enthralling first half in the African Cup of Nations final has ended goalless, despite a few chances apiece. The good play marred by an injury to Joe Musonda, who exited the final in tears.

Drogba shoots from range, hitting Sunzu on the thigh and resulting in a fortunate corner to Ivory Coast. Bamba climbs all over Sinkala and it's a Zambia free-kick.

Only two minutes added despite the injuries. What a nonsense. Gosso in space on the right miskicks as he was about to cross and Zambia clear.
45'
Gosso is back on, looking uncomfortable but fine, unlike his opposite number earlier.
44'
Both sides have used the break in play to have a stop-and-chat. It restarts and is played back to the keeper. Drogba is annoyed as Katongo caught him on the uncontested drop ball. Why was it a drop ball? It was kicked to touch. Weird.
43'
Gosso is back on his feet but looking uncomfortable. Seems to be his ankle.
42'
Gosso goes down in a heap after a tackle in midfield.... Chansa caught him accidentally it seems. Kicked out to touch so he can receive treatment.
41'
Drogba reacts with fury as he fails to trap a long ball in the box. Now Bosso on the right crosses but straight at Mweene, whose positioning has been excellent so far.

Gervinho and Drogba play the give-and-go but the keeper reads and claims the cross. Zambia counter, Kalaba wide right to Katongo, the support arrives but he cuts inside to shoot only to send it well wide!

This is an end-to-end match at the moment but Yaya crosses, too deep and Mweene claims but his momentum takes him outside the box! he readjusted to keep hands and ball inside but I think he took it out - and so does Drogba! Play-on says the ref - I think the linesman's view was obscured by Drogba.
38'
Tiene backs off Katongo, whose cross yields a corner. Kalaba with a superb ball but Sinkala at the back stick kicks air and it bounces clear!
