So, one impetuous piece of defending was all it took for Ghana to struggle by Uganda, but the poverty of their second half performance was quite something. Uganda only contrived one decent chance, but if Ghana don't improve, they might yet go home at the end of the group stages.
Anyway, thanks all for your company, and we'll be back for Egypt-Mali very shortly indeed.

    Full-time: Ghana 1-0 Uganda

Lovely from Andre Ayew, taking possession on the touchline and shielding the ball with his body before flicking it behind his standing leg and between two defenders. Accordingly, he's dumped on his pieholder, and wastes precious seconds in the process.

There shall be a minimum of three additional minutes.

Another cross sent high into the box, but from 30 yards out, and this time Brimah elects to catch, doing so easily and unopposed.
    90'
Avram Grant is stood on the touchline looking as dynamic as ever.

Shaban puts the ball one side of Amrtey and in looking to go the other, hurls himself to the ground. He claims a penalty, but the ref was having no such thing.
    87'
Brimah comes to punch a cross clear, but his connection is poor and Miya is there to pick it up on the edge of the box. His control doesn't kill it though, forcing him to stretch into a shot that flies well wide.

Atsu should finish it! He runs in behind Ochaya and when Afful finds him, he nips back inside once more, creating the angle for a shot. But once more, though he laces it well, it's right at the keeper and at a convenient height, so is saved without alarm nor surprise.

Final change for Ghana: Acquah, another midfielder, replaces Jordan Ayew.

Ghana are allowing Uganda possession in their own half, which means they have plenty of time to pick the right long hoof. And one ends up at the feet of Massa, down the right, whose low cross is a dangerous one - Amartey does well to reach it first, just ahead of Serumkuma..
    81'
Uganda are looking lively now, Miya finding Ochaya, who launches another presentable cross into the box - but no one attacks it. How many warnings do Ghana need?
    80'
Kawdwo Asamoah would make such a difference to this Ghana team, but in his absence, it's not easy to fathom why Badu doesn't start.

This is who Tonny Mawejje plays for in Iceland: Knattspyrnufélagið Þróttur.
    78'
Ochaya pastes past Atsu down the right and sends over a cross, but it's just too strong for the various men serried in the middle.
    77'
Ghana have been slightly better these last few minutes, and they smuggle the ball out to Jordan Ayew down the left. He squares up his man too, but his stepovers are easily read and Uganda clear.

Straight away, Uganda go down the other end, and Miya turns beautifully outside the box, but can't get the ball out of his feet, his shot trickling through to Brimah.
    74'
But here come Ghana, just as I said, Atsu finding space for the time in ages and sliding down the line for Badu. He's got both Ayew brothers in the middle, but dallies and his eventual cross is easily blocked.
