Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Algeria's make-or-break clash with Senegal. Only a victory at Stade de Franceville will suffice for Algeria, although even that will not be enough if second-placed Tunisia avoid defeat against Zimbabwe, or if the latter win by a large enough margin to overhaul the Desert Foxes on goal difference. Aliou Cisse's Senegal, in contrast, have marched into the last eight courtesy of 2-0 victories against those two opponents, as they aim for a 100 per cent record for the first time in their AFCON history. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

Two minutes of added time at the end of the first half.

Poor defending from the Greens, as they fail to clear properly, only heading as far as Diop, who hammers a volley into the ground, and bounces all the way in, through a sea of bodies.

GOAL! Algeria 1-1 Senegal. Pap Diop levels from just outside the box to compound the Greens' misery.

Bentaleb does commit a late challenge this time, but escapes a second yellow.

Sow goes down very theatrically looking for a free-kick, and somehow the referee falls for it. Bentaleb is cautioned to make matters worse!

Faouzi Ghoulam is handed the game's first yellow card, which would mean he'd miss the next match for Algeria, but that won't be any time soon it seems...

This is becoming a bit of a nightmare for Algeria, as Tunisia are now THREE goals in front.

Adlene Guedioura does well to recover in the tackle, but concedes the corner.

Again, it is that man Mahrez, but he gets underneath an effort and the ball flies over the top.

Mahrex really is the outlet for Algeria here. Senegal cannot pick up his runs.

SAVE! Brahimi slides in Mahrez, who is forced slightly wide, but gets the shot in, only to see N'Diaye spread himself well to block.

The next free-kick is awful, the ball falls to Ciss, who hammers at goal, but that is always heading well wide.
28'
Sow absolutely lashes a free-kick straight at the wall, but the referee blows for handball against Slimani. Crazy decision from that distance.

It certainly looks that way...

Great skill from Mahrez again to get to the byline, pulls it back for Slimani, but it is cut out and Senegal clear.

CLOSE! Mahrez cuts inside, unleashes a powerful strike at goal, before lashing over the top.

Pace of the game has slowed right down as the players are made aware of the scoreline in the other match.
21'
More bad news from the other match, as Tunisia take a two-goal lead. Zimbabwe now need three for Algeria to have a chance.

SAVE! Moussa Sow is played though the gap, he gets there before Algeria goalkeeper Asselah Malek, but elects to try and take it around Asselah, allowing the 'keeper to dive at Sow's feet and smother.

Some good possession for Algeria now. Mahrez is drifting around the pitch to try and influence the match.
