The 30-year-old is on loan at Lille until the end of the season, but the Ligue 1 side have an option to make the move permanent in June.
"I want to stay but that does not depend on me," said the former Newcastle, Lazio, and Paris Saint-Germain defender, who is unlikely to return to Hamburg after falling out with first team coach Martin Schwalb.
Lille are currently top of the Ligue 1 table after 22 matches, five points clear of Rozehnal's former team PSG.
"I am glad that we are first and PSG make good results," the Czech added. "If we stay like this until the end of the season, it's perfect."
