Managerless HSV come into this afternoon’s game rock bottom of the table. They sacked manager Mirko Slomka after just seven months in charge and will be hopeful of putting in a better showing today at least. Loan signing Lewis Holtby will be eager to impress in midfield.

The good news for Bayern Munich is the return of Arjen Robben who returns to the starting XI after recovering from injury. The bad news, Franck Ribery misses out again. Otherwise, it is a pretty strong line-up and with Bayern scoring 31 times in their last seven meetings with Hamburg, it’s surely a question of how many the visitors will win by.
