HALF TIME: Bayern Munich 3-0 Schalke. Well, it's fair to say the German and European champions are in charge of this one. There's no way back for Schalke. This is about saving face for them now.

Off the post! First, Muller has a shot blocked on the line. Then Sule sends a shot towards goal, but his effort comes off the outside of the near post and goes behind. More pressure!

Hernandez gallops forward. The Frenchman is a very different sort of full back to Davies. He is more adept on the defensive side of the ball, whereas Davies is essentially a winger.

A half chance! Harit made a run in behind the Bayern Munich defence and was found by the pass, but Sule tracked back to make the tackle before he could even get a shot away.

The pressing from Bayern Munich is relentless. Schalke are just trying to gain some confidence by playing a few passes around their defence, but the home side aren't having a bit of it.
