HOFFENHEIM 1-1 BAYERN MUNICH - LEAGUE LEADERS ARE HELD BY SEBASTIAN HOENESS’ IN-FORM SIDE IN THE BUNDESLIGA

Hoffenheim and Bayern Munich play out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga. Christoph Baumgartner gave Hoffenheim the lead in a frenetic contest, but it was cancelled out by Robert Lewandowski’s header from a corner on the stroke of half-time.

He is replaced by Dabbur who will get a few seconds of match action.

A foul throw hands Bayern possession and they will now look to forge one last opportunity. Gnabry attempts to cross into the box but it flies out for a goal-kick.

Hoffenheim have dropped much deeper. A pass looking for Sane inside the Bayern box is overhit and the hosts have a goal-kick. Moments later and Sule boots the ball out of play.

That will relieve some pressure on the Hoffenheim backline. The striker catches Stiller by accident in the face and Hoffenheim can reset.

A good cross in from Sabitzer finds Choupo-Moting at the far post and he really has to stretch for it, but he does get a header away but it veers wide!

Muller comes off for Choupo-Moting. Sabitzer also comes on for Musiala.

Kimmich elects to play it short but the cross into the box is overhit.

Bayern are committing more men forward but it could mean a chance for Hoffenheim on the break... and once again Kramaric is denied! He shoots from close range but Neuer gets his body in the way of it!

Baumgartner and Kaderabek come off for Bruun Larsen and Akpoguma.

A Lewandowski dummy allows Muller in and his shot gets the better of Baumann, but Posch makes a brilliant sliding block on the line and clears away! How Muller has not scored in this game is quite remarkable!

Baumann tries to pass out to Stiller inside the Hoffenheim box and Musiala nicks it off him, but the angle is very tight and his low shot goes into the side netting.

Raum gives the ball away in a dangerous area and Sane bursts forward. He drives a low shot on goal inside the box but it crashes off the woodwork! That was Bayern's best chance to take the lead in this half!

Coman goes for goal from 30-yards out but it is an easy save for Baumann to make. Posch has been booked for a foul on Lewandowski. Play has stopped for a moment with Baumgartner receiving medical treatment.

HOFFENHEIM VENTURING FORWARD

The hosts are cautiously looking for a route to goal and appear to be keen to take a bit of speed out of the game. Bayern's pressure has been relentless so far in this second half.

Samassekou, who was on a yellow card, comes off for Geiger.

Raum's cross into the box finds Kramaric, but his shot is straight at Neuer and he can make a comfortable save! Kramaric really should have slotted that into one of the corners!

Baumann has been sensational today! Sane's shot from outside the box looks destined for the bottom corner, but Baumann is able to get a strong left hand on it!

Bayern are camped inside Hoffenheim's half and look very keen to get a goal as quickly as possible. Kimmich is fouled and Bayern have a free-kick around 35-yards out. A ball floated into the direction of Sane bounces into the arms of Baumann.
