Mellberg and Van Persie clash heads as they both jump for a high ball on the left flank. The referee awards a free-kick to Arsenal.

Olympiacos substitution: Marko Pantelic replaces Fuster. Quite a handy player.

Arteta is shown a yellow card for a foul on Djebbour in midfield. A lot of the earlier pace of this match has subsided for the time being.

Mellberg gives away a cheap free-kick in the centre circle for a shove in the back of Van Persie.

Olympiacos sibstitutions: Modesto and Abdoun replace Orbaiz and Mirallas.

Nice link-up down the left between Van Persie and Santos but Olympiacos hold their shape well and snuff out the attack.

Rosicky flicks Arteta's corner on at the near post but no red shirt can attack it. Van Persie tries to get the second ball in from the right but the cross is blocked.

Arteta goes for goal from the free-kick. The strike clips off the wall and behind for a corner.

Arsenal substitution: Robin van Persie replaces Chamakh.

Arshavin has really woken up in the last 10 minutes or so, and here he draws a cynical barge from Fuster that gets the Spaniard a booking.
