Bayern, for me, shaded it over the two legs and they are in the final, at home, to Chelsea. Real are inconsolable and Spanish football takes a bit of a blow. Thanks for joining me - another dramatic night in the Champions League. I'm off, back tomorrow for some Europa League fun.

1-3: Schweinsteiger to win it for Bayern, the club man... DOWN THE MIDDLE AND IN! BAYERN ARE IN THE FINAL IN MUNICH!

1-2 :Ramos for Madrid now, takes an age to place the ball... CHRIS WADDLE! He blasts it to Bilbao and then some!

1-2: CASILLAS WITH ANOTHER SAVE! From Lahm this time! Poor penalty, Casillas went one way but it was so poor he could stick his arm back down the middle! Yikes!

1-2: Alonso clips a cool penalty down the middle with Neuer long gone.

0-2: BIG SAVE CASILLAS! Low from Kroos to the right, too weak but a good save from the Spain man. A German missing a penalty?!

0-2: Kaka really needs to score - but another save! Even better one, same spot, same save but a longer stretch! Bayern fans aren't hating Neuer now are they?

0-2: Gomez for Bayern and he rolls it bottom left with Casillas the wrong way.

0-1: Ronaldo steps up - but saved by Neuer! What a stop! One-handed as Ronaldo put it low to the left! What a save!

0-1: Alaba to take the first one, the youngster! A cool low finish inside the right-hand post. Lovely peno.

As the teams prepare for spot kicks the home fans sing for Casillas. Nerve-jangling.

With Boateng receiving treatment, the ref has seen enough and it's penalties! Yikes!

Boateng is down with cramp but back up again. No, he's done. There'll be a last-second change I think.

Definitely Higuain's fault, Marcelo had been on one heck of a run and was off balance, he had to release it. Real meanwhile are appealing for anything every the the ball goes near a Bayern player.

It was Marcelo who got there before Robben, and he goes on a superb run and Real have men over but he picks out Higuain who is offside! Don't know who to blame more for that, Higuain or Marcelo.

Schweinsteiger finds Gomez, who runs at the defence but slips, almost sending Robben through but cleared.

Granero is sent in by Kaka, a bit wide and Neuer is on him straight away but refuses to touch him - Granero goes down anyway and the ref books him for diving.

Schweinsteiger goes down after releasing a pass... Cramp maybe.

A Bayern attack breaks down as Lahm's cross is cleared by Alonso. But Lahm and Boateng win it back and here come the Germans again...

This is better from Real as Granero sends Kaka in, he's almost surprised by that but takes it on the chest, he can still cross for Khedira but it's blocked by Boateng and Bayern clear.
