Mannone and Vermaelen almost present the visiting side with a glorious chance to open the scoring after some shoddy defending before Vermaelen gets back to block Fuster's shot.

Another chance for Machado, but this time his volley fails to hit the target. The visitors not lacking adventure.

Jenkinson is unhappy after a tug on Mitroglou is punished by the referee. Machado's free-kick flies well wide of the home goal.

Arsenal looking to get on the ball and keep possession. Easier said than done. The Greek side content to let the home team play in front of them.

David Fuster is penalised for a blatant foul on Vermaelen of Arsenal. That was a crunching tackle and a clear foul.

Contreras is flagged for offside early on. Olympiacos aiming to prove they can travel in this company and compete.

Teams out on the park and we are almost ready to go at the Emirates. Arsenal hoping to entertain after that 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Olympiacos have played once before on 3 October in the Champions League, in 2007, when they won 3-1 against Werder Bremen to record their first away victory in the competition at the 32nd time of asking.

We've already had one intriguing match today - AC Milan saw Zenit St Petersburg recover from two goals down before completing a 3-2 away win over the Russian champions in their Champions League Group C match at the Petrovskiy Stadium.

Greek champions Olimpiacos are going great guns again this season. They have won all five of their league games thus far, scoring 13 goals and conceding just three in the process.

Wenger has made two changes to the side which lost 2-1 to chelsea on the same ground they play at this evening. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain replaces Aaron Ramsey, while Francis Coquelin comes in for the injured Abou Diaby.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants his side to make amends for Saturday's defeat to Chelsea this evening: "The players are focused and disappointed that we lost the game. They are still down of course, but we have a Champions League game in front of us at home and we want to put things right."

Following their win at Montpellier on Matchday One, Arsenal can stay top of Group B with another victory this evening and Schalke fail to win against the French side at home.
