Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has warned of the threat Schalke will pose tonight. He told reporters: "Schalke are a quality team. They have dangerous players like Christian Fuchs, Benedikt Höwedes, Jefferson Farfán and Michel Bastos. Any victory we get without conceding a goal is an advantage for the second leg. I have faith in my players because the response I'm getting from them is very positive."

Galatasaray hand a first start to Didier Drogba after the Ivorian notched as a substitute on his debut on Friday evening. Wesley Sneijder also starts in what looks like an attacking line-up for the hosts. Schalke are boosted by the return of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who has overcome an eye injury to lead the line.
