All in all, a comfortable night for Arsenal with Aaron Ramsey in particular impressing for the Gunners. This was a decent Fenerbahce side and Arsenal strolled it, sending out a sign to the critics.

FULL TIME: Arsenal 2-0 Fenerbahce

Jenkinson almost makes it three, but his close range shot is brilliantly saved by Volkan after a fast counter attack by Arsenal. The full back is still looking for his first senior goal.

Arsenal will finish this game with ten men, with Ramsey coming off. Doesn't appear to have an injury or anything, though.

Three minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the second half.

Ramsey finds Wilshere with a great, measured through ball but after coming inside on to his right foot the Arsenal midfielder shoots straight at Volkan. Decent effort.

YELLOW CARD: Gokhan Gonul (Fenerbahce)

Get the feeling Wilshere is being targeted a bit here, this time taken down by Gokhan Gonul.

Cazorla plants the freekick right into the centre of the Fenerbahce wall. It was a big wall, mind.

Alves cynically takes down Wilshere as he runs through at the Fenerbahce backline. That was ugly.

Wilshere is back on the field but limping about. Arsenal have used their three changes but surely there's no real need for Wilshere to be out there?

Fenerbahce sub: Moussa Sow OFF, Mehmet Topuz ON.

Yep, Wilshere's down on the turf and signalling to the bench.

Wilshere is struggling with an ankle knock. Last thing he needs is another set back.

YELLOW CARD: Raul Meireles (Fenerbahce)

Alves lines up a freekick from the edge of the box but his strike is straight into the Arsenal keeper.

Cazorla comes surging through the midfield, passing to Sanoga but the Frenchman can't take it in his stride and shoots well over the bar.

Arsenal sub: Theo Walcott OFF, Ryo Miyaichi ON.

What an incredible finish by Ramsey. He could've taken a touch before shooting but his first time shot was expertly directed into the bottom corner. Wonderful.
