Good evening and welcome to live coverage of the Champions League quarter-final second leg between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid at the Signal Iduna Park. The Spanish giants lead 3-0 from last week’s encounter in the Bernabeu and look odds-on to book a semi-final berth.

History suggests Dortmund could triumph on the night - but it also looks like it will be Madrid who prevail unless they can pull off the shock of the competition so far.

How do you see this one going? Dortmund to win, but Madrid to progress? Or will Real ease through with home and away succcesses? The German side look a decent bet at 5/2 for a victory on the night, while the draw is good value at 14/5. Madrid are a narrow 6/5.

STAT: Real Madrid have a 100 per cent record of progressing to the next round of European competition after winning the first-leg 3-0. They are eight for eight at present. Hard to see beyond them making it nine out of nine tonight, but Klopp and co are refusing to give up! Could be an interesting night.

Carlo Ancelotti: "With Lewandowski returning this is a different game. His presence lifts his fellow players. We will have to keep the balance between attacking and defending but we are best at attacking and we should show that."

Juergen Klopp: "Last year, we 'went out' in the final. This year it looks like the quarter-finals. But it is not over yet. Real Madrid are one of the favourites to win the Champions League but we want to defend better and use our chances better than in Madrid. I do believe my team showed 'cojones' in the first leg. We made mistakes in defence but we gave them a game. We are specialists for the second half and this is the second half of the quarter-final. We want to win it."

Meanwhile, Dortmund warmed up for the clash with a 2-1 success over Wolfsburg to maintain second spot in the Bundesliga behind runaway title winners, Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid come into this on the back of a resounding 4-0 success at Real Sociedad that keeps them right in the Spanish title race. Indeed, since losing back-to-back league matches they have won their last three, netting 12 goals without reply.
