In the end that was emphatic by Real Madrid, who hardly missed Ronaldo. Galatasaray were too slow in possession and Mancini waited too long to make changes in the second half. Di Maria and Isco were particularly impressive for the home side and Bale wasn't bad either. Good night for Los Blancos.

Di Maria drives to the byline with intent and works his way into the box, but the Galatasaray backline recovers well and puts the ball behind for a corner kick, which eventually comes to nothing.

A huge positive for Real Madrid is that with ten men, and without Ronaldo, they've still blown away Galatasaray here.

This Real Madrid team is absolutely frightening when they counter attack at pace. They have speed in abundance! Furthermore, they know how to use it.

Riera plays a great ball to the back post but Arbeloa rises to head the danger away with Drogba putting the Real Madrid player under pressure. What a game he's had!

That was a very nice goal by Isco. The build up was a little fortunate but the finish was nonchalent, making a fool of the Galatasaray keeper before passing home. Excellent.

Riera has been impressive since coming on. He's certainly had more of an impact than Amrabata had in that position on the left side of the frontline.

Real Madrid are offering very little going forward at the moment. Their energy levels have dropped over the past 10 minutes or so.

The introduction of Sneijder and Riera has given Galatasaray new life in this game but it's too little too late from them. Once again, why did Mancini wait so long to make those changes?
