Borussia Dortmund have never kept a clean sheet against Arsenal (6 games).

Mkhitaryan with a chipped corner, but he fails to find a team-mate on the edge of the box, and the visting side can clear the danger. Poor corner really.

Neither side assuming control so far. Dortmund began strongly, but Arsenal don't look like they are ready to buckle.

Mkhitaryan can have no complaints there. The referee called that one spot on. Arsenal in possession at the back.

Mkhitaryan has been booked. Blatant dive trying to con the referee into awarding a penalty kick. No foul by Arteta. Clearly.
5'
Aubameyang collecting in the Arsenal area, but can't turn to take a shot as he is crowed out by dark blue shirts.

Schmelzer delivers a second corner for the home side, but this time Mertesacker is on hand to clear the danger.
2'
Henrik Mkhitaryan sees a shot deflect wide early on before Arsenal are forced to defend a couple of corners.

Teams out on the pitch here. A full house as you would expect at this cauldron of football. Should be a fascinating evening.

Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal have been drawn in the same Champions League group for the fourth time in total. It’s the third time in the last four seasons. The Champions League record between Dortmund and Arsenal at the Westfalenstadion is balanced: one win each, one draw and three goals each.

Arsene Wenger: "The main threats in the Champions League will still be the German and Spanish teams. Look at the number of times Bayern Munich have been in the final. There's no obvious reason why suddenly they shouldn't be there. Dortmund is a regular participator as well and in Spain you have the two big clubs - Barcelona and Real Madrid will be contenders again. We had a very physical game against Man City on Saturday so it will be tough for us. But we have recovered well and sometimes in the second game you can be even stronger."

Juergen Klopp: "This group is a good mixture of old and new faces. We certainly know Arsenal better than the other sides, after all, we play against them all the time. On the other hand, I’ve not yet come up against Galatasaray or Anderlecht as a coach. So that will be very interesting. Facing the Gunners first off is a tough proposition, especially considering the injury problems we have at the moment and the fact we haven’t been able to train together very often. But we never complain and are looking forward to tackling the challenge tomorrow. Getting through the group stage is one of our main aims for the season."

And for the hosts, Italy striker Ciro Immobile, who joined the Bundesliga outfit from Torino following the World Cup, leads the attack. Juergen Klopp has opted for a rather attacking formation with Kevin Grosskreutz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan positioned just behind Immobile. Shinji Kagawa starts on the bench for Dortmund despite scoring on his return to the club at the weekend. One notable absence at the back for the Germans is Mats Hummels, who played an integral role in his nation lifting the World Cup just a couple of months ago.
19:10
The surprising news is that teenager Hector Bellerin starts in the Gunners defence alongside Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Kieran Gibbs. Former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck gets his first start in the Champions League for Arsenal, whilst Wojciech Szczesny is selected in goal over summer signing David Ospina.
