Good evening and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Champions League Group B encounter between Ludogorets Razgrad and Liverpool at the Vasil Levski National Stadium. The Reds come into the game on the back of a four-match losing streak and could bow out of the competition tonight if results don't go their way.

Six teams in Champions League history have taken 3 points from their opening 4 group games and still progressed from the first group stage - both teams could add to that number. The last were Stuttgart in 2009-10 while only one English club (Newcastle in 2002-03) has come from such a position to qualify at that stage of the competition. Ludogorets will be mightily disappointed with that goal. There were two defenders with Lambert, but both hesitated, allowing the England forward to take full advantage.

At home this season Ludogorets have played 13 games in all competitions, with only Real Madrid (on Matchday 2) leaving with a victory.

Ludogorets will deploy midfielder Dani Abalo as a lone frontman in the absence of the injured Roman Bezjak (hernia). Yordan Minev is back for the hosts after he served a one-game ban on matchday four.

It's a big night in Group B and both Liverpool and Ludogorets supporters will have an eye on what is happening in Switzerland where Basel entertain Real Madrid.

Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool: "We have enormous respect for Ludogorets. They were excellent at Anfield in the first game and maybe they should have won more points. They have surprised a lot of people. They are technically a very good side. We arrive here seriously motivated. We know if we play well, we will get a result. I just need to get us back to a level of confidence that allows you to perform. Losing can be the making of you. You learn from it. That is what we are aiming to do. When you don't have so much coaching time, it is mostly psychological what you are trying to achieve. If we focus on that too much, there is no way we could play to our level."

Georgi Dermendzhiev, Ludogorets: "This will be one very tough game for us and I hope the fans will enjoy it. There will be no pressure on us, we'll play freely and give our best to win. We have already gained a lot of experience, we now have a serious routine (at this level). It won't be fatal for us if we lose. Liverpool have so many quality players, I think their problems are more psychological. Our first game in the group stage was at Anfield and probably our team was unknown. Now it is different. Brendan Rodgers knows us better and will do everything to win the game."

Can Rickie Lambert and co change that against the Bulgarian minnows? Or are Liverpool heading for full-blown crisis mode?

Liverpool are taking a more cautious approach tonight which, given the stakes, is perhaps not a huge surprise. Lucas Leiva comes in to add some bite to the midfield while Kolo Toure, who impressed away to Real Madrid recently, replaces the struggling Dejan Lovren in the back four. Jordan Henderson also returns after his illness-related absence at Crystal Palace.
