Raul Garcia is booked for a foul on Varane. No malice, but nowhere near the ball. That yellow will put the Atletico man out of the first leg of the semi-final, should they get there.

Great cross with the outside of Koke's foot almost finds Mandzukic. Atletico growing in confidence and feel they can snatch something here.

Ronaldo goes for goal with an early, dipping effort from distance that Oblak keeps out with a comfortable stop. Ronaldo cutting a frustrated figure now.

CHANCE! Koke darts between Varane and Pepe and flicks a deep cross from the right towards goal, but it's straight at Casillas. Either side of the Spain goalkeeper and Atletico would have had the lead.

Jeers around the Bernabeu as Ronaldo tries to back flick a high ball back into the box, rather than just take it down in the conventional manner. He blames the floodlights for blinding him, but the home fans are not convinced.
