FT: Bayer Leverkusen 4-4 Roma. What an incredible game. How on earth did Bayer drag that back from there? The lead chopped and changed so many times it was hard to keep up. Roma will be furious they let this slip, but a point is not the end of the world. These meet again in two weeks in Rome. Let's hope for more of the same!

Where did that come from? Bayer looked dead and buried! Very easy for the hosts, the ball was worked well to Wendell on the left, and his cross was perfect for Mehmedi to convert at the back post.

Was a fine strike after working space for the shot well, but Szczesny should really have done better.

Stuffing has well and truly been knocked out of Bayer. They looked shocked, but Roma have been immense since getting back into it at 2-1.

What a magnificent comeback from the dead. Gervinho again uses his pace to break the offside trap, he squares for Falque, who opens his body and guides the ball past Leno.

GOAL! Bayer Leverkusen 2-4 Roma. Game over? Perfect counter from Roma, with Falque converting with ease to give his side a two-goal lead.

Florenzi really should have squared it to Gervinho, who was unmarked and would surely have scored. The former Arsenal man is incredulous.

Almost straight away, Brandt tests Szczesny after taking it early, but the Arsenal loanee gathers easily.

Kramer's game is over, as he is replaced by Julian Brandt, who can play anywhere across the midfield.
