Hello and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary from the Champions League play-off first leg fixture between Celtic and Malmo FF. This is Pete Hall (@PeteHall86) taking you through all the action from what is sure to be a raucous Celtic Park.

Another good omen for Celtic is the visitors' domestic form. Malmo are struggling in defence of their Swedish Allsvenskan title and sit fifth in the table after 20 games.

The Bhoys have won 10 of their last 11 Champions League qualifying games at Parkhead, keeping eight clean sheets and conceding only three times in total.

It will still be a major surprise should the Scandinavians emerge with anything from this encounter.

Malmo featured in the Champions League group stages last season; the first time they had played in the European Cup proper since 1990/91, when they lost to Dynamo Dresden in the second round.

Malmo have previous. They have never faced Celtic before, though they have eliminated Scottish sides from Europe in two of the last four seasons (Rangers in Champions League qualifying in 2011/12, Hibs in Europa League qualifying in 2013/14).

The Swedes will be no pushovers this evening, however. 2-0 down to Red Bull Salzburg from the first leg of the last qualification round, the Blues produced a rousing display to storm back and seal a clash with the Scottish champions.

It is an important night for Celtic, and especially Ronny Deila. The Hoops were handed a lifeline last season when qualifying for the Champions League, but they could not take advantage of their reinstatement, as they were knocked out by NK Maribor of Slovenia in the play-off, on their own patch.

Malmo are without former West Brom striker Markus Rosenborg, who is suspended, while midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu is also banned.

The volatile Nadir Ciftci, who is serving a six-match domestic ban for biting an opponent, looked set to be restored to the line-up, but Leigh Griffiths is the man tasked with leading the line.

One change for Celtic, with James Forrest coming in for Gary Mackay-Stevens.
