Mourinho also made a few headlines by having a dig at ex-Chelsea full-back Graeme Le Saux. The Blues boss said his players were happy to travel to Israel, despite heightened security following the Paris attacks on 13 November.

Mourinho: "We are very disappointed with the bad results we had for a significant period of time. We need to keep getting results for our happiness, pride and fans." He added: "We haven't qualified yet but we are OK. Everything is in our hands. If we play like we have been doing, we can win. It's simple. If we lose, we are in trouble. Chelsea ended a run of three straight league defeats with the 1-0 success over the Canaries and skipper John Terry hopes that it will be a catalyst for a Blues revival after a difficult first part of the season.
