Vital header away from Pique with PSG looking to swing a cross in. Marquinhos was lurking at the back post but in fact the flag has gone up for offside.

CLOSE! Oh so close from Messi, who bends it round the wall perfectly but it's barely half a yard wide of the mark. Great pace to this game but PSG just looking for any opportunity to stem the flow.

It's a 3-on-2 for PSG but Umtiti rushes back to make a vital interception. Down go Barce the other end and a cynical foul from Draxler on Messi sees the PSG man go in the book. That's two early yellows and Barca have a free-kick 30 yards out...

CLOSE! It's a dangerous cross from the resulting corner and Lucas' ball in is met by Cavani but it's blocked by Iniesta.

It's frantic from the hosts and this time they have a corner but PSG manage to clear.
Down the other end Draxler is appealing for a penalty and it appears to hit the arm of Mascherano as he slides down to block the ball. Have been given but you have to say that evens matters up after the Barca one wasn't given either.

NO PENALTY! Neymar is screaming for a handball in the box as his cross tries to find Messi, but nothing is given...

And then they needed three... Would you believe it. 85 minutes to do so - and they have the wind beneath their sails now.
Early yellow for Matuidi too for a late tackle on Umtiti. That's VERY early to be dishing out the cards.

GOAL BARCELONA! IT'S OVER THE LINE!
What a start to the match for Barcelona! A cross from Rafinha comes in - it deflects into the air and Suarez is there to head the ball over the on-rushing Trapp. Replays show it's a yard over the line and Barca have one back already. Wow.

As you'd expect it's Barcelona who enjoy the early possession. Happy to play it around and settle into this one - but they'll soon have to make tracks if they are to eat into PSG's lead.

And we're off! Cracking noise coming from the stadium. A hopeful crowd? Or an expectant one?

Surely behind schedule here with the teams just getting ready to walk out at the Nou Camp. Still got the waving of the centre-circle ball and anthem to come too...

Time to wave your flags like you just don't care. The Barca faithful do their utmost to get the atmosphere going ahead of kick-off. The teams are ready to come out - are we about to witness something magical? Or will PSG put out the flames early on?

More of the same
Barcelona have been in fine scoring form in the past two games at the Nou Camp - beating Celta Vigo 5-0 just three days after recording a 6-1 victory over Sporting Gijon.
Both scores would of course be welcome tonight for the Catalan giants, but they face a completely different beast in PSG, who have won their last three Ligue 1 games on the spin.

The stats you need to know...
o No club has ever overturned a first-leg 4-0 away defeat in a Champions League knockout tie (it has happened five times in the past)
o The only time Paris SG eliminated Barcelona in the Champions League was in 1994/95 quarter-finals (3-2 on aggregate). Since then, Barcelona have won their two knockout encounters with the Parisian club (2012/13, 2014/15)
o Barcelona have progressed past the round of 16 in each of the last nine seasons, the longest run ever in the competition. The last time they failed to reach the quarter-finals was in 2006/07 against Liverpool
o Paris SG have also gone past the round of 16 in each of their previous four campaigns but have subsequently been knocked out in the quarter-finals
o Barcelona have won their last 14 Champions League games at the Camp Nou (44 goals scored, 6 conceded), all since Luis Enrique took charge. Only Bayern Munich are on a longer winning run at home in the history of the competition (16, current streak)

State of play...
It was a Valentine's Day to remember for the hosts in Paris as a Angel DI Maria double - plus strikes from Julian Draxler and Edinson Cavani - handed them a commanding first-leg lead.
It equalled Barcelona's worst-ever Champions League defeat - while no side has qualified from a four-goal deficit before. It really is a monumental task that faces them.
