The Club Brugge defence is all over the place. They appear nervous and have conceded possession in deep areas on at least a couple of occasions now. Leicester's high pressing is causing them lots of problems.

CHANCE! Vardy nicks the possession off a defender, the loose ball falls to Fuchs and he picks out Okazaki who can only fire a shot straight at the goalkeeper. That was an easier opportunity than the opening goal!

Well, Leicester have made exactly the sort of start Ranieri would have wanted. The hosts seem to be really in the mood for this and, coming up against a team clearly lacking confidence, the Foxes could score three or four this evening.

GOAL! Leicester 1-0 Club Brugge - Okazaki scores to give the Foxes their dream start! It's a classic counter-attacking goal from the Premier League champions as Albrighton wins the ball in a deep area, feeding Vardy who releases Fuchs and he delivers a cross to the near post where Okazaki applies the finish.

FIVE MINUTES UNTIL KICK-OFF! Shall we make a prediction? This writer feels Leicester will complete the job and overcome Brugge by two goals to nil. An early goal is key however and the longer the match remains goalless the more nervous the home supporters may become...

PRE-MATCH STAT! The Foxes have won as many Champions League games as they have Premier League matches this season, despite playing eight more times in the domestic division.

Progressing to the latter stages of the competition for Club Brugge is impossible now but that doesn't mean the team will roll over for their opponents, according to the manager.
"I hope we can show something in our two final games. We want to remove that zero as quickly as possible, so we will do everything to grab points. Although that does not mean that we will take risks," said Michel Preud'homme.
Club Brugge are currently fourth in their domestic league, six points off the leaders Zulte Waregem.

They be may be struggling in the Premier League but the punters would still fancy Leicester to overcome Club Brugge this evening. However, Claudio Ranieri refuses to underestimate tonight's visitors, who have lost all four Champions League games.
"I respect a lot Club Brugge. I can’t believe they’re on zero points. They play well and create good chances. It’s strange," he said.

Having won the Premier League at 1000/1 last season, can Leicester pull off another miracle and qualify for the final 16 of the Champions League?
Claudio Ranieri's side have won three times in their four matches so far in the competition, becoming the first team in the history of the Champions League to keep a clean-sheet in each of their opening four games in the process.
Europe has proven to be a nice distraction from their domestic struggles - the Foxes are currently only two points above the relegation zone. But there will be a party at the King Power Stadium this evening if they can avoid defeat.

* Leicester will only fail to qualify for the knockout rounds tonight if they lose and Copenhagen beat Porto in Denmark.
* Ranieri's men will win the group if they are victorious and Porto fail to beat Copenhagen or the Foxes draw and Porto lose in Denmark.
