Hello and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of Manchester City's final Champions League group stage clash with Celtic from the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola's men are already guaranteed to qualify for the last 16 in second place behind Group C winners Barcelona. Celtic also have very little riding on this, but will be eyeing a first win of this season's competition. Even such an occurrence will not lift them off the bottom of the group, however. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, LIVE!

A game with only pride at stake produced a real spectacle in the first half, if the second saw less goalmouth action. City finish the group stage in second, but we knew that before kick off. Two wins from six will hardly cause their next round opponent to panic. Celtic finish their campaign winless, which will disappoint Brendan Rodgers, as they have competed well in most of their matches. Thanks for joining us. Full report and reaction on site. Goodnight

CLOSE! From the resulting free-kick, Sane fires at goal, which just flies wide. Gordon looked beaten, despite it being on his side.

CLOSE! Fernando again gives the ball away, Mackay-Stevens squares for Griffiths, but he side-foots wide from a great position.

NO GOAL! Great play from City. Nolito sprays the ball out to Navas, who drills the ball back in the Spaniard's direction. He fires home, but the offside flag is raised and the goal is ruled out.
