Hello, Happy Halloween, and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary of Celtic’s Champions League group stage encounter with Bayern Munich. This is Ryan Bailey (@ryanjaybailey) taking you through all the action from Parkhead tonight.

CHANCE: Tierney picks out Armstrong who plays a one-two with Dembele in the box. Alaba prevents a Dembele tap-in with a great recivery tackle. Corner.

Robben plays a square ball in the air to Alaba, who plays it square in the air again to Boateng. Tiki taka this is not.

Vidal wins the ball in the middle of the park and charges forward, but concedes a foul for handball when he grabs the ball on the floor while protestign a Brown challenge.

Boateng picks out Vidal with a glorious long ball, but the flag goes up. Clearly, Bayern have decided to attack with aerial threat tonight.

Craig Gordon may also be at fault for coming too far off his line, but Boyata should own that one.

That's an unfortunate lapse in concentration from Boyata, who has been excellent otherwise.

GOAL: Ulreich hoofs the ball down field and Boyata opts to let it go. Coman sneaks in and beats an approaching Gordon, putting the ball in an empty net.

Coman crosses from the left but his attempt to find Vidal sails over the bar.

Boyata clears the corner, but James' effort actually went out of play, so it's a goal kick.

Bayern are being reduced to speculative crosses into the box and long shots thus far. Alaba tries to find COman in the box but Boyata puts it out for a corner.

Rafinha puts a deep cross in for Coman, but the Frenchman is not able to properly connect with it. Goal kick.

Much of Bayern's forward movement is coming down the right flank, where Robben is being kept under wraps by Tierney. Their battle will be an intriguing one tonight.

Dembele attacks down the left flank and beats Tolisso. He has McGregor in support but shoots wide across goal.

Forrest drives forward through the middle and plays a one-two with Armstrong. Forrest tries to find Dembele in the middle but his ball isn't good enough.

It's a very positive start from the home side, but they'll need to take golden chances like the one Armstrong was presented with if they are to get something out of this.

Alaba takes a throw in the Celtic third. It finds Martinez on the edge of the area, but the Spaniard completely miskicks.

Celtic have looked the more dangerous team in the opening minutes. Arsmtrong pressures Rafinha in the Bayern third.

Martinez fouls Dembele and the ref brings it back for a free kick after playing advantage. Boyata takes it.

James delivers an outswinging corner which Boyata clears away. Tierney breaks and nearly finds Arsmtrong with a cross at the far post, but he shoots wide. Rafinha should have done better in keeping Armstrong out of a dangerous position.

McGregor attempts to put Dembele through on goal but Martinez snuffs out the danger.
