This is a worry for Spurs. Alderweireld, after charging forward, has gone down off the pitch and seems to be clutching his hamstring.

Every pass Real make is getting intercepted or goes out of play. They are all over the place.

Isco is bounding around chasing everything but Ronaldo and Benzema are doing nothing.

Marcelo makes two tackles, first on Trippier and then Eriksen but it goes into the box. Winks picks it up and weaves through a couple of challenges. He also tries to chip Casilla but the keeper catches again.

Ramos is not happy, he doesn't think he's got a chance. Trippier swings it in but Ronaldo heads away. The ball comes back in from Davies and Casemiro does brilliantly to clear with Kane lurking.

We've had just over a quarter of an hour and Real have been reduced to long balls over the top.

Spurs have shut them down superbly.

Real pepper the Spurs box a little with a series of crosses but Spurs have so many players back in there that it's far too easy for them to deal with. Real already look out of ideas.

Ball is swung to the back post, Trippier sends it back across goal and Alli nearly gets a touch.

Again Spurs rob the ball, this time from Casemiro. Kane gets in after Ramos gets a touch on the pass and he tries to chip Casilla. The Real keeper catches it well.

After a strong start from Real Spurs are dominating.

I tell you what.

Spurs have got a chance on the break in this game. Kane, Alli and Eriksen are causing havoc. They are getting in a lot and before too long they're going to give Real a shock.

Achraf gets played in on the right but his cross is really poor. Really the ball should have been spread to Isco on the left.

Spurs go right down the other end and Trippier's ball in nearly finds Kane but Casilla comes out well to claim.

At the other end Kane is nearly in but Ramos does well to deal with it.

Early Harry Kane watch. At the start it looked like he wasn't going to be pressing too much in order to save himself but Spurs haven't started very intense, just making sure they don't give Real time to settle.

And the first chance of the evening comes when Isco has a go from around 25 yards out.

It's not particularly powerful and it's comfortable for Lloris.

First half-chance sees Isco try to clip the ball over the top to Ronaldo but he gets it all wrong. Is that even a half-chance? Maybe a quarter-chance.
