Cristiano Ronaldo has been fined £17,000 by UEFA for his ‘cojones’ celebration against Atletico Madrid.
Ronaldo fired Juventus into the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a hat-trick in the second leg of their last-16 tie earlier this month against Atletico in Turin.
The Portuguese superstar copied Atletico boss Diego Simeone with his ‘crotch grabbing’ celebration.

It was thought that Ronaldo would face a ban from UEFA for mimicking Simeone.
The amount Ronaldo was fined (£17,700) matched Simeone’s punishment following his antics in Madrid at the end of the game.
However, Ronaldo faced further censure and he has been cleared to play against Ajax in the quarter-finals.
A UEFA statement read: “The CEDB has decided to fine the Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo 20,000 Euros (£17,700) for his improper conduct."
