That's harsh on Young Boys, who have probably been the better side in this first half, but that's the quality that Man Utd possess. That goal came out of nothing. Just brilliance from Pogba.

Pogba picks up the ball on the edge of the Young Boys box, shifts the ball from his right foot to his left foot and then thumps a shot high into the top corner of the net. What a way to open the scoring!

Fassnacht again! The Young Boys attacker finds space for a shot 20 yards out, he get a lot of power behind his strike, but De Gea watches it all the way and tips over the crossbar.

In other news, Ronaldo has been sent off in Juventus' game against Valencia. That likely means a two game ban which will rule him out of the return to Old Trafford in a few weeks' time.

Dalot slip! That's the first time that Man Utd's new full back has been exposed, falling over under pressure from Fassnacht. But Smalling makes a block to deny his shot from reaching De Gea.

There's been a lot of slipping and precarious running from some of the Man Utd players in this first half so far. They are clearly not enjoying playing on this plastic pitch.

Fred was caught on the ball in the centre of the field by Sanogo, but the Young Boys midfielder couldn't thread the pass through for a teammate. That was a half chance for the hosts.

As well as the home side have played so far, Man Utd have been poor. They need more from the likes of Martial and Rashford and Pogba to get them up the pitch, where they can cause problems.

It was assumed that Young Boys would be the whipping boys of this group on the basis of the strength of the other sides. But on this showing, they might well be tough to beat.

You have to admire the confident with which Young Boys are playing at the moment. They are the ones taking the game to Man Utd, who have yet to find their stride so far.

Outside of the post! Shaw gets down the left side and plays a low cross to the front post. Rashford makes his run to the near post, flicks a finish to the near post, but his shot hits the outside of the post and goes wide.

What a tackle! Pogba thinks that he lost his man and is free to surge through on the opposition penalty box. But Mbabu did well to win the ball back from the Man Utd captain.

After a difficult start to the season, Man Utd have recovered in recent weeks with wins over Burnley and Watford. But this is already turning out to be a real test of their resurgence.

United have to raise their game here. They have controlled the ball reasonably well in the centre of the pitch, but they have yet to show any real invention in the final third.

Young Boys will be pleased with how they have started this match. They have created the better of the opportunities so far and have looked the most threatening early on.

What a strike! That would have been a sensational goal! Camara strikes it from about 25 yards out, but De Gea gets a hand up to push the ball over the crossbar. What an effort!
