The number crunchers are suggesting Chelsea have a 92 per cent chance of progressing tonight. To be fair, it would take a major swing for the Portuguese side to upset the Londoners and actually knock them out.

The omens are good for Chelsea. One such stat in their favour is that Porto have won only one of their 20 Champions League knockout stage matches as the away side (D6 L13), with that coming against Deportivo de La Coruna in the semi-finals in 2003-04.

STEADY EDDIE: Chelsea have won their last seven Champions League matches with Edouard Mendy in their side. The only goalkeeper to win more games in a row for an English club in the competition is fellow Frenchman Fabien Barthez with Manchester United during the 2002-03 campaign (eight games).

DID YOU KNOW? Mason Mount is aiming to become only the second Englishman to get on the scoresheet in both legs of a Champions League knockout stage tie for Chelsea. His old gaffer, Frank Lampard was the first when he found the net in both matches against Bayern Munich in the 2004-05 quarter finals.

SUPER SERGIO: Oliveira has netted five Champions League goals for FC Porto so far this season. That's the joint-most in a campaign by a Portuguese player for a Portuguese club (matching Nuno Gomes in 1998-99 for Benfica). The last Portuguese player to score more in a European Cup campaign was Eusebio in 1967-68, also for Benfica (6 goals).

Otavio: “We always believe. We were focused on the match against Tondela (2-0 win in the Superliga) and now we are rested and are thinking of Chelsea.”

Ben Chilwell: “They are a strong outfit with a lot of very technically gifted players. They are a proud team as well and there is a Champions League semi-final up for grabs. The two away goals could prove to be crucial, but it’s only half a job done.”

Porto coach Sergio Conceicao: "We are confident. We know that we face a difficult task, but we are here to give the answer that we have to give."

A bit more on that team news.... Chelsea make three changes from the first leg with Thiago Silva, N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic all starting. Porto make one change with Sergio Oliveira in from the off.

Thomas Tuchel: “I am here to win games and as a result to win titles. This is what I demand of myself. Why should we now say any different - that we want to win in five years, three years or two years? Now is the time."
