Full-time: Barcelona hold on to claim the most unconvincing of victories against a second-string Dynamo Kiev side. This was not pretty, but Barca have three victories from three in Group G.
THREE minutes of added-time to play!
Dynamo win two quick-fire corners. Anxiety is heightened at Camp Nou. Ter Stegen punches the first delivery and they clear their lines from the second.
- OffVitaliy BuyalskyyDynamo Kiev
- OnBogdan LednevDynamo Kiev
Dynamo sub: Lednev replaces Buyalskyi. A final throw of the dice from the visitors?
Dynamo have had their moments and will be left to rue a host of missed chances if they're to lose this game. They still have time!
- OffPedriFC Barcelona
- OnCarles AleñaFC Barcelona
Barca sub: Carles Alena comes on for Pedri. Seven minutes to go.
What a save! Dembele carves inside and strikes with his right foot. It's goal-bound but Neshcheret makes an acrobatic save to tip it over!
Now Koeman will be sweating. His side haven't been at the races all evening and they have work to do to protect this lead.
- GoalViktor TsyhankovDynamo Kiev
GOAL! Barcelona 2 Dynamo Kiev 1 (Viktor Tsyankov): Game on! Ter Stegen spills Verbic's shot from the left of the box and Tsygankov is waiting to finish from the scraps!
- OffAnsu FatiFC Barcelona
- OnFrancisco TrincãoFC Barcelona
Barca subs: Lenglet and Trincao replace Busquets and Fati.
Double Dynamo sub: Verbic and de Pena, formerly of Middlesbrough, come on for Supryaha and Rodrigues.
- Yellow cardVitaliy BuyalskyyDynamo Kiev
Yellow card! Buyalskyi goes into the book.
Ter Stegen save! Dynamo aren't prepared to throw in the towel just yet! A simple ball over the top catch Barca's defence cold once more as Tsygankov rushes through but again he can't beat the goalkeeper!
GOAL! Barcelona 2 (Gerard Pique) Dynamo Kiev 0 - That will settle the nerves! Pique stays forward after the corner and he's left unmarked to glance home Fati's cross!
Great save! This is a night Neshcheret won't forget in a hurry! Sergi Roberto makes a late run to the far post but his stooped header is pushed behind by the young Dynamo goalkeeper!
Double Barca sub: Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembele replace Pjanic and Griezmann.
Great save! Teenager Neshcheret is having a fine game in goal for Dynamo! Messi lifts his free-kick over the wall, it looks destined for the top corner but the 18-year-old is at full stretch to push it behind!
Free-kick! Buyalskiy commits a foul on Busquets and Barca have a chance to double their lead with a free-kick 25 yards out in a central area. Messi is over it...
Ter Stegen to the rescue, again! Barca are carved open all too easily and Dynamo should score! The defence is all at sea as Supryaha races through on goal. Ter Stegen races off his line to narrow the angle and makes the save!
I bet Ter Stegen didn't anticipate such a busy return to action! Barca have been so poor. On this evidence, they won't go far in this competition.
Goal disallowed! Dynamo think they have levelled - but the referee immediately blows his whistle for a goal-kick! Kedziora guides his header into the back of the net, but Buyalskiy's corner delivery is adjudged to have swung out of play before reaching the penalty area!
Dynamo chance! Barca's defence is at sixes and sevens once again as Tsygankov knocks it past Alba to create a real opportunity to level the game. Ter Stegen is off his line quickly to dive at his feet and deny the Dynamo striker!

Kick-off! The second half gets underway!
- End of 1st Half
Half-time: Barca made a lightning fast start but they have taken their foot off the pedal somewhat and the depleted Dynamo, who missed a great chance to level, are trailing by just one goal at the break.
Save! Nescheret, who hadn't played a senior game for the club since the weekend, does brilliantly to get down quickly to save - and hold - Fati's shot, with Messi ready to pounce on any scraps.
Close! Messi, with typical brilliance, creates space for a shot but his effort takes a deflection off Zabarnyi which takes it just wide.
Chance! Messi with some beautiful close control then feeds Pjanic. The ball is cut back to the unmarked Pedri who has a great chance to double the advantage but he doesn't get decent contact on the shot and Neshcheret makes the save.
Messi squeezes through a couple of defenders to release Fati on the left side of the penalty area. But the youngster gets his shot all wrong, curling the ball well, well wide of goal. Horrible effort.
Barca have looked disinterested for some time now and they're fortunate to be ahead. That was a real chance for Dynamo.
Great save! Ter Stegen, whose last appearance for Barca was the 8-2 drubbing against Bayern last season - makes an important save to keep the hosts ahead! Kedziora is left unmarked in the penalty area and ought to score but he heads into the ground and Ter Stegen claws it over the bar!
Shepelev goes down inside the Barca penalty area in stages, desperate for the referee to buy it, but Michael Oliver isn't going to fall for that. The Dynamo player is fortunate not to go into the book for that.
It's not clicking for Barca up top at the moment. Messi drives forward, feeding Fati, who switches it to Dest. His cross into the penalty area is desperately poor and fails to beat the first man.
Pique fouls Supryaha, giving Dynamo a free-kick and a chance to catch their breath.
Barca aren't working as hard as they should be, perhaps.
Credit to Dynamo's second string. They have been comfortable in possession and continue to pose a threat on the break.
Fati stands up a cross into a packed Dynamo penalty area, there's a bit of a scramble before Buyalskiy goes down, winning a free-kick from Sergi, to relieve the pressure.
Ter Stegen is forced into action for the first time this evening, using his feet well to clear a dangerous ball across the face of goal, as Dynamo continue to ask a question or two of the hosts.
For all of Barca's dominance, Kiev have had their moments on the counter-attack. Shepelev carries the ball through the middle but perhaps chooses the wrong pass. The attack breaks down, but Kiev win the corner.
Messi goes close! Neshcheret is at full stretch to tip Messi's shot wide of the post! From the resulting corner, Fati's effort is blocked and Barca have another.
Dynamo are just enjoying a little spell now. Rodrigues runs into space on the counter, drawing the foul from Dest just outside the penalty area. Their top goalscorer Tsygankov takes it, winning the corner, which comes to nothing.
Save! Fati skips past two Dynamo defenders as he drives down the left flank, shooting from an acute angle, but Neshcheret denies him.
Barca could score as many as they like tonight, you feel. It's a damage limitation exercise for Dynamo.
Griezmann goes some way to making amends with an inch-perfect sliding tackle on Buyalskiy, who was just about to unload a shot at goal!
Sitter! Barca are relentless in their pursuit of goals in the early stages and it looks easier to score than miss as the goalkeeper parries Fati's shot into the path of Griezmann, who somehow shoots wide!
Barca hit the woodwork! Messi and Dest combine down the right, as Barca carve open the visitors' defence at will. Pedri should score but his right-footed strike is denied by the crossbar!
- Goal by penaltyLionel MessiFC Barcelona
GOAL! Barcelona 1 (Lionel Messi) Dynamo Kiev 0 - Was it ever in doubt? Messi, on his 150th UEFA European appearance, slots his penalty home and Barca have an early lead.
Penalty to Barca! Popov upends Messi and although the referee initially points for a free-kick right on the edge of the box, he consults with his colleagues and the penalty is given.
Fati uses his pace as he skips past his marker to drive to the byline, crossing low for Griezmann who can't find a way past Nescheret.
If Barca get an early goal then you have to fear for Dynamo's second string. As expected, the visitors have everyone behind the ball and they have an incredibly deep defensive line.
Kick-off! Barcelona get us underway at Camp Nou!
Alright, there are just FIVE minutes until kick-off. It's Barcelona vs Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League, it's LIVE and it's NEXT!
Oh dear, Manchester United...
There are just 10 minutes until kick-off at Camp Nou! And did you know it is Luis Figo's 48th birthday today? So let's enjoy some of his best goals...
More from Koeman: "What I most like about the side is how they work, how we have upped the intensity, and their openness to listen and improve. I like their attitude. We can still play better and create more clear-cut chances."
Messi has scored 20 goals in his last 24 appearances for Barcelona in the Champions League, while he last netted in his first three games of a single campaign in the competition back in 2018-19.
Barcelona haven't lost in their previous 22 games in the group stages of the Champions League, while you have to go back to 2015 for Dynamo's last victory on the road in this competition, a 2-0 win over Porto.
Mircea Lucescu, Dynamo coach: “Koeman faces difficulties, having had to implement changes. They have a lot of talent in the squad, but they need to solve issues with pace, and work on the club's traditional style. As for now, everything depends on Messi. Despite that Barcelona look splendid in Europe.”
Koeman: "Our objectives are always the same: to play good football, create goalscoring chances, and you need to win your Champions League games at home. We look good at the moment with six points and we want to carry on that way."
As mentioned, Dynamo are without 13 first-team players, including suspended captain Serhiy Sydorchuk, five defenders, Heorhiy Bushchan and his deputy Denys Boyko. In fact, this game was almost suspended as a club must have a minimum of 13 players available from their A-list squad to fulfil a Champions League fixture. The club have nine players unavailable due to Covid-19, with three suspended and one injured.
Teams in full: Barcelona XI - Ter Stegen, Dest, Pique, de Jong, Alba, Busquets, Pjanic, Pedri, Fati, Messi, Griezmann.. subs: Neto, Pena, Alena, Braithwaite, Dembele, Puig, Lenglet, Trincao, Sergi Roberto, Firpo. /// Dynamo Kiev XI - Nescheret, Shabanov, Popov, Zabamyi, Kedziora, Andriyevakiy, Shepeliev, Buyalskiy, Rodrigues, Tsygankov, Supryaha.. subs: Ihnatenko, Morgun, Verbic, De Pena, Lednev, Clayton, Rusyn, Syrota.
Barca are boosted by the availably of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who passed a fitness test today and starts in goal. Koeman also gives a start to Pedri and Sergino Dest, while Lionel Messi is hoping to continue his 100 per cent goalscoring record against Ukrainian sides.
Barca team news!
Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of Barcelona and Dynamo Kiev in Group G of the Champions League. You would have thought Ronald Koeman's men would have kicked on after convincing 2-0 victory over Juventus last time out in Europe but Barca stalled once again at the weekend, drawing against 10-man Alaves. A victory tonight should be almost certain against a Dynamo side missing 13 first-team players, but it's 2020, so who knows? Kick-off is an hour away and team news follows next!
