After a tough first half, Real Madrid held out in the last half hour or so pretty comfortably and deservedly go through to a semi-final against Chelsea. Thanks for following the match with us.

Good attempted cross from Oxlade-Chamberland but Nacho on the stretch heads away in front of Salah.

Salah is played in by Thiago but from a narrow angle Courtois blocks his attempt to centre.

Four minutes of injury time to be played.

It really has been a fantastic defensive display from Real Madrid tonight.

Isco comes on for Asensio.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Shaqiri replace Firmino and Mane.

Great chance for Benzema who heads against the floor and it bounces over the bar.

Asensio does brilliantly to control a high ball and set free Rodrigo but Phillips prevents Benzema from being able to convert the centre.

Kroos and Vinicius are replaced by Odriozola and Rodrigo.

Another block from Militao after a good turn from Firmino.

Salah with another chance to hit the target but takes an age to shoot and his effort is blocked by Militao.

Another fine cross from Alexander-Arnold finds Jota at the back post but he cannot head the ball back across the goal.

Vincius was though on the break but Allison saved his shot and then dived to smother Benzema's attempted follow-up.

Thiago and Jota come on for Kabak and Milner - both subsituted players have played well but it is the time to take risks.

Phillips picks up a yellow card for a foul on Casemiro.

Liverpool about to make changes. Not surprising as the sting has come out of their attacks at present.

Great defending from Milner to race back and deny Benzema a chance to convert from close range after Mendy pulled back towards the French marksman.

Benzema flicks the ball over Phillips but can't bring the ball down and Allison gathers.

Another great cross from Alexander-Arnold which Firmino stoops to head but can't get on target.
