The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage is underway as Europe's elite go head-to-head for the biggest prize in club football.
Manchester City are the favourites after picking up their first Champions League trophy last season, but others have strengthened their ranks.
Real Madrid now possess the world-class talent of Jude Bellingham in midfield, Bayern Munich have sharpened their attack with the addition of England captain Harry Kane, while Barcelona look a rejuvenated outfit after lifting the Liga title under Xavi.
The likes of Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will also fancy their chances after spending big over the summer.

Key fixtures on Matchday 5

After three defeats in four, Manchester United travel to Galatasaray on November 29 with their hopes of qualifying hanging by a thread.
United lost to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray in their opening two games before beating Copenhagen at home and then slumping to a devastating 4-3 defeat in the reverse fixture in the Danish capital.
Arsenal host Lens on the same evening, hoping to build on their comfortable 2-0 win over Sevilla on Matchday 4.
After beating Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 in a famous victory at St James' Park, Newcastle United suffered back-to-back defeats against Borussia Dortmund and will be hoping to bounce back when they travel to the French capital to take on PSG on November 28.
Earlier in the day, Celtic take on Lazio in what is a must-win clash for the Scottish champions.

Has the UEFA Champions League format changed this year?

The UEFA Champions League format remains the same this season, with 32 teams in the group stage, spread across eight groups of four.
From the 2024/25 season, the number of teams competing in the group stage will increase from 32 to 36, while the traditional group stage will change to a single league phase with clubs playing eight matches against eight different opponents.
