Manchester United's 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray was a "big disappointment", Christian Eriksen admitted to TNT Sports after the UEFA Champions League clash at Old Trafford. United looked on course for victory after Rasmus Hojlund bagged his second goal to put United 2-1 up in the 67th minute, but a shock collapse saw the Turkish giants roar back to inflict a damaging defeat on Erik ten Hag's side.

Christian Eriksen admitted it was "very quiet" in the Manchester United dressing room after the "big disappointment" of losing at home to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Galatasaray battled from behind twice before snatching a 3-2 victory at Old Trafford, piling more misery on Erik ten Hag’s side who sit bottom of Group A after losing their first two matches.
Despite five defeats in their last seven matches, Eriksen does not believe there is a lack of confidence in camp, but rather a lack of concentration.
“It’s sad, it’s a big disappointment,” he said of his team's mood after the latest loss. “It was very quiet in the dressing room.
“I think we had some good spells in the game, but at the moment, when we go ahead and score a goal, shortly after we concede. Of course, that makes it very difficult to stay in the game and that is something we have to change and change very quickly.
“I don’t think it’s confidence, I think it’s more the awareness and the sharpness to keep our form, and going ahead twice. You shouldn’t throw that away.
“We did that in other games this season. I don’t think it's confidence, I think it’s the sharpness and the wrong decisions at the wrong times, and luck isn’t following us around at the moment.”
United are the only team in Group A yet to register a point, with third-place Copenhagen next to visit Old Trafford in the competition.
Eriksen knows that United’s Champions League campaign has been dented, but insisted it is far from over.
“A lot [of work needs to be done], but again it’s details,” he said. “Today, the chances they have is from our mistakes and if we don’t make the mistakes we don’t concede as we do.
“Luckily it’s only the start of the competition, we’ve only played two games and there are still a lot of games to play and catch up.
“We know that even for the next game, we need to win every game to have an opportunity to go through and that’s how it is.”
