Jadon Sancho is back on the biggest stage as Borussia Dortmund return to UEFA Champions League action against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday. The forward fell out with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag at the start of the season which led to his return to the Bundesliga club in January. TNT Sports pundits Glenn Hoddle and Joe Cole believe the player was "ill-advised" at the Premier League club.

TNT Sports pundits Glenn Hoddle and Joe Cole believe that Jadon Sancho was "ill-advised" during his time at Manchester United, but are confident he can "rehabilitate" his career at Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho returned to the Bundesliga club during the January transfer window after falling out with United manager Erik ten Hag earlier in the season.
The 23-year-old publicly hit back at claims from Ten Hag that wasn't training hard enough before their 3-1 defeat at Arsenal in September.
The outburst saw him on the fringes of the United first-team and he was not selected in the squad following his statement on social media.
Sancho re-signed for Dortmund on loan and has contributed with two assists in five league games, and he started the UEFA Champions League tie against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday.
Discussing his situation, Hoddle and Cole both agreed that Sancho needed better advice to solve his dispute at Old Trafford.
"He's a talented lad and what he's gone through at United has been sad to see from the outside looking in," Hoddle said. "For me personally, it's great to see him in the Champions League at that level.
"He must've thought when he was training on his own at United, he was a million miles away from that and it's turned out for him.
"The problem at United was the communication with him and the manager, perhaps his agents or advisors or family. Someone had to sit him down and just say look: what is this about?
"He needed help and he's getting that from Dortmund now. He's going back home as such where he started his career, he hasn't pulled the trees up yet.
"I think he's got a couple of assists but he's a talented lad. It's on the mental side that he's got to settle himself down, we may see it tonight in a big game because it's a balanced game. It's going to be a tough one."
Cole added: "I think it's a smart thing from his advisors getting him back to Borussia Dortmund. They haven't done many smart things with the interactions with Manchester United.
"Like Glenn said, it's great to see him back. He had to be ill-advised. How can you be the brightest young player in England and get your move to Manchester United and then all of a sudden, you're training by yourself?
"There had to be stages where things would've broken down. People were probably not telling him the right things to do, how to conduct yourself in that situation but going back to Dortmund is the right decision. You need to rehabilitate your career, rehabilitate yourself and what better place than where he had so much success.
"Now it's up to the lad to get himself up to speed, don't expect fireworks from day one. No matter who you are as a footballer, it's very difficult if you've not been playing and come into the team especially a winger because you play on your instincts.
"I'm really hopeful for him that he's learnt from his experience at Manchester United and we see the player that we've seen in recent years."
