Carlos Bacca’s mum has become the latest person to wade into the Neymar row, confessing her desire to whack the Brazilian forward with her shoe after he sparked a brawl at the Copa America.

Neymar was dismissed in the aftermath of Brazil’s 1-0 defeat to Colombia for blasting the ball at Pablo Armero and aiming a headbutt at Jeison Murillo.
Bacca also saw red after charging into the melee to violently shove the 23-year-old.

Neymar was handed a four-match ban for sparking the unsavoury conclusion; Bacca escaped with a two-game suspension.
Eloisa Ahumada did not condone her son’s behaviour, but she lambasted Neymar for his actions at the full-time whistle.
"If I'd been in the stadium I would have taken off my high heel and hit Neymar. I know many women in the stadium would have joined me," she told El Heraldo.
"I felt anger and helplessness, as I wanted to be there to push [my son] away so they couldn't hit him because it could have been serious."
She added: "I was really annoyed because I've never seen this attitude of Carlos in the game before.
"I sent him a message telling him off because he didn't need to react that way."
Unless a successful appeal is launched, Neymar will miss the remainder of the Copa America.
