That sets up things nicely for next week's second leg at the Camp Nou. Aduriz's late goal gives Athletic Bilbao some hope of overturning the deficit and making the final four of the Copa, but Barcelona are still in control and you would expect them to see the job through.

THAT WAS ALMOST THE EQUALISER! Sabin's deflected strike almost crept under the crossbar, but Ter Stegen was alert to the danger and did enough to push the ball over the target.

It's all Athletic Bilbao now as they look to score the goal that would at least give them some hope ahead of the second leg at the Camp Nou. Barcelona are holding firm, though.

Laporte needs to be careful here. He is already on a yellow card, and yet he has just been pulled up for a foul on Busquets. He's not exactly holding back, which is a risky game to play.

SHOULD THAT HAVE BEEN A PENALTY? Williams goes down under the challenge of Mascherano in the box. He didn't get the ball, but did he get the man with his sprawling leg?

It was probably a wise move from Enrique to take off Munir and replace him with Sandro. The youngster was getting a little too involved in some of the fracas between the players.

SABIN COMES CLOSE TO FINDING THE NET! The corner kick delivery was a wicked one, with Sabin glancing the ball on. But Ter Stegen was alert and makes the save at the near post.

It's all kicking off now. Aduriz is taken out by Mascherano, but before that we also had a clash between Munir and San Jose. The two players were in each others' faces, but the referee didn't seem to notice.

Neymar is not a very popular figure with the home fans at the San Mames. This time he is felled by Iturraspe, although the Athletic Bilbao supporters think he is laying it on thick.

There is a renewed energy to Athletic Bilbao's play. They realise that to give themselves any chance of making the final four they really need to find a goal in the next 10 minutes or so.

On comes Adriano, who is more of a natural left-back than Roberto.Álthough the experiment worked rather well for the youngster. Enrique has another option in that position.
